Following repeated customer requests we’ve added this plain version of our ever-popular double-lined pewter tankard, but ‘plain’ really doesn’t do this cup justice. It’s a beautiful and elegant tankard that we expect to become one of our most popular. A ‘classic’, in fact. Like the double-lined cup, this tankard is from our ‘medium grade’ range, meaning that it’s made from slightly thicker pewter than some of our cups and that gives it a little more strength.
All in all this is a fine pewter tankard and great value.
This tankard is very good for fans of lots of beer styles but particularly for English, Scottish, and IPA style beers, or for mead.
Note that the capacity of this mug is just over 19 fluid ounces, so it’s a bit more than a standard US pint.
